Head into the heart of Veneto along the Brenta River to enjoy some of the most beautiful villas and artistic masterpieces of this region such as Villa Pisani, the Queen of the venetian villas (also called the Italian Versailles) which is a wonderful example of a French style villa which dates back to the 18th century and were kings and emperors  - including Napoleone Bonaparte - were welcomed. Nowadays it is a national museum which conserves eighteenth and nineteenth century works of art and furniture, as Gianbattista Tiepolo’s masterpiece, “The Glory of the Pisani family”. Furthermore, this place is famous for its enchanting garden and maze which were awarded “The Most Beautiful Garden in Italy”.

From here we head to Padova and reach Piazza delle Erbe, in the heart of the city. We can enjoy the beautiful historical centre which offers a lot of opportunities for what concern artistic and figurative arts: the Scrovegni Chapel, a masterpiece of Giotto frescoed between 1303 and 1305, one of the greatest artworks of all times; the adjacent Eremitani Church, which keeps the juvenile masterpieces of Andrea Mantegna; the Caffè Pedrocchi, one of the most important historical Cafès built between 1831 and 1836 by famous architect Giuseppe Jappelli; the Basilica of St. Anthony (started immediately after the death of the Santo – 1231 - and holding his body) with its very peculiar roof made of Byzantine-style domes and towers like Turkish minarets; Prato della Valle, one of the largest town squares in Europe, a large elliptical green island surrounded by a double layer of statues of famous men.
